What is TRX Suspension Training?
Use your own body weight and gravity to work every muscle in your body with the help of one simple tool. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

What is Rip Training?
Rip Training utilizes a lever bar and resistance cord to provide a unique mix of rotation, core stability, control, power, strength, mobility, metabolic conditioning, balance and coordination challenges. TRX has developed a wide assortment of unique, leverage-variable resistance exercise movements.
Life and sport require that we be able to both control and produce rotational force. Rip Training utilizes the same asymmetrical loading we encounter every day. Whether you’re carrying groceries, picking up your child, throwing a ball, or performing athletic movements such as lacrosse, swimming, running, golfing, and biking, your body is always producing rotation or controlling externally-induced rotation.
Rip Training provides a simple, effective method to integrate rotational movements into training with the ability to layer on complexity to suit your goals.
Why is Suspension and Rip Training different than Traditional Exercise?
Traditional weight training often only works one muscle at a time, while Suspension and Rip Training focuses on total body strength training, moving through multiple planes of motion and works multiple muscles and joints-all at the same time.
What can you expect in a TRX Training Center Workout?
During the TRX Workout you will perform upper and lower body exercises that activate your core and allow you build strength, improve flexibility, balance and core stability. Our variety of exercises and classes will give you an effective, total body workout in each class with no chance of boredom.
What happens if I sign up for a class, but cannot make it?
Classes must be cancelled 6 hours before the class start time to avoid forfeiting a session for any package or ClassPass holders, or incurring a $10 cancellation fee for unlimited members. Classes cancelled after the 6 hour mark may be switched for any time (earlier or later) within the same day of the original reservation.
Do I have to sign up in advance?
While it is not required, it is highly recommended that you sign up in advance, as space is limited. You can use MINDBODY; our online reservation system or our TRX Training Center phone app (download from iTunes or GooglePlay), to guarantee a spot in the class.
What happens if I am late for class?
After 5 minutes, no entry will be allowed into class. If a member has not checked in at the time of class starting, their spot may be relinquished to a member on the waitlist.
If you make it in off the waitlist, you will receive an automatic notification via email and text message. Not confirming this spot within 2 hours of receiving may release this spot to another member on the waitlist.
What if this is my first class?
All first-time clients must arrive 20 minutes prior to class start time to get set up for class and familiarized with our equipment or we will reschedule for another class time.
Do my sessions expire?
Membership classes, including any additional session(s) purchased, will expire after 30 days and will not roll over to the following month if unused. Class packages have a 60 or 90 day expiration date. TRX Annual Pass can not be cancelled or suspended and pass will expire 1 year after date of purchase.
How do I cancel my membership?
You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing questions@ trxtrainingcenter.com within 3 business days prior to the start of any billing cycle to avoid an additional month’s payment. Please include member name, date you’d like to cancel, and reason for cancellation. Once the request is submitted, any payment that has already processed will allow you to utilize your membership through the end of that month. We will not back date any cancellations nor refund any unused classes prior to the request date.
How do I suspend/freeze my membership?
You may place your recurring membership on hold for a minimum of 30 days at a time, and up to 60 days per year. All freeze requests must be sent to questions@ trxtrainingcenter.com including member name, dates to be frozen, and reason for freeze. No requests will be processed over the phone or in person.
How do I use MINDBODY?
MINDBODY is an online scheduling service. You will need to create an account, and you can then access it from any device, computer and register for your TRX class. If you download our phone app, you need to use your existing MINDBODY login.
What should I wear?
Please wear athletic clothes and closed toed shoes. And don’t forget your water!
Are there showers, lockers and towels?
Yes. There are two showers per locker room and towels are complimentary. Please bring your own lock for the lockers. Lockers are for daily use only and items will be removed overnight and placed in lost and found. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Can I downgrade my account?
Any membership change requests must be submitted via email to email@example.com. You downgrade your membership at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org 3 business days prior to the start of any billing cycle to avoid an additional month’s payment. Please include your name, date you’d like to downgrade as of, membership you’d like to downgrade to, and reason. Once the request is submitted, any payment that has already processed will allow you to utilize your current membership through the end of that billing cycle. We will not back date any downgrade requests nor refund any unused classes prior to the request date.
